I'd say Emirates is primarily a PAX operation with a few cargo jets thrown in for luck...............

Veteran Avia. 747 classics, type rated, SHJ ops but don't expect to spend your nights at home. Or days, or week.... you head to JED and from there, you fly and fly alot.

Pros : flying and not sitting much
you get paid on time
Saudi Air contracts with nice planes, decent hotels
GREAT crews to fly with,

Cons: new contract says 11/1
no current structured rotation in place to get you back home in UAE
Away from home/wife most of the time ( I'm sure most of you will want to move this item to the " Pros" section above but its Jeddah. Seriously? We're that bad ?

You seriously took time out of your day/night to worry about that? And then post about it wasting more time without contributing a bit of information ? I think you're the one drinking the G & T's and dreaming of fish.
