Profit share (I mean profit) put to good use.
Well someone has to make use of 15Bill AED of cash and spend some, I guess this years share was held back and paid out to at least on winner.

So..
They had a financial obligation, which had to be paid or defaulted on. Of cause they paid it. That affected the profit.... What did you expect? If you had invested in a sukuk you would be expecting emirates to pay up before they give profit share....
