3 weeks would be pretty fast....I would count on 4-6 weeks.

Resident Permit

Took just over 3 weeks for my permit. Takes 3 months for multi-exit visa.

Flytdeck

I'm trying to understand the various types of visas.

What are the specifics/limits of the multi-exit visa? Is it available to family members or only the sponsored employee?

work visa

Got my work visa yesterday, just 2 weeks after receiving my DOJ wich is in August.
Things were even faster than my joining coordinator prediction!
Maybe things are going faster now.
What about you, guys??

Nice landings

Igig,
There are two types of exit visas(permit)
1- single exit ( free) valid for one exit
2- multiple exit (unlimited number of exit, valid for one year and cost 500 QR).
Only you (the sponsored employee) need a exit permit. Your family doesn't.

The " funny" think is that If you resign you will have to cancel your multiple exit permit and to pay again 500 QR.
Cheers.
