Anyone from the recent sim checks in LHR heard any news on the dates for the final selections in Dubai?

Eager to hear some news........as always....... and get an idea of what dates they are currently offering..

.

I was at Cranebank on Nov 23rd and got an email a couple of days ago, although I already knew what is in it as they invited me to Dubai after I have unfrozen my now-frozen-ATPL.

So it seems they want everything to be ready when they call people to Dubai for the final assessment, meaning for example that the minimum required hours are flown as well as all the other qualification requirements are met.

Has anybody had an invite to Dubai yet? All I have so far is an email from the recruitment team congratulating me on passing the sim. I was in Cranebank at the end of November.

Do you have all the requirements met? I mean at least 2500hr modern jet hours, ATPL and so on? I think they want every criteria met before they invite you to Dubai. I'm still lack of the ATPL until march, my collegue is lacking the hours which he's going to get by spring as well. Both of us are waiting for the invitation but they won't send it until all is clear for entry requirements.

BHeard, when applying to EK you don't have to have ATPL in your license yet (I had a frozen ATPL when I started applying).

You can do psychometric assesments and sim checks also without ATPL but when you are at the stage of selection programme that you are waiting for an invitation to Dubai to complete the selection (final two days), THEN you have to have ATPL on your license.
