Hello, I am moving to UAE and are looking to take the PPL while I am down there. Nice and predictable weather makes it a good option compared to Scandinavia.

What are my options?

What does it mean that they are governed by GCAA, is it easy to convert PPL-certificate to JAR-FCL?

Sorry if I seem ignorant, I was only wondering if their licenses are easy to convert to EU.

Because they are a standalone authority it does not say and I have not yet met anyone with experience, only from FAA-related issues.
