30 ton rule

Why is it not stated in theire mins ? I have applied with 7000 tt, 2500 on turboprop, 3000 on crj 200 , 2500 as FC and received a letter " you do not fullfill our minimum requirement. Strange !! and a waste of my time.

brain drain

We were told in the wash up today that they are getting tons of applicants for the right seat, can't remember the exact number but its almost double the monthly average.
It would seem Ryanair is becoming an EK training college.

It is a term invented by EK mngmt.

At the end of your recurrent groundschool day, a guy from flight ops shows up and tries to clarify/answer all the questions/concerns the pilots in the classroom might have.

Whatever they have to say can be news for the new joiners, but it is a boring half hour for the senior ones.

Thanks for the explainstion... It's a descent idea, when I think of joining I asked the guys I know there. Where I am people ask me and I can't help them. It's smart for a company heavy into recruitment. But yes once your in the interest in hiring falls dramatically.

"It would seem Ryanair is becoming an EK training college."

No hope for a pay increase I guess...

30 Tonne Rule

Hi Guys, just wondering what the latest is with bizjet hours?

Everyone keeps talking about a 30 tonne rule, but i've noticed the application specifies above and below 55 tonne???

Also, where can i find info about transferring from one middle eastern carrier to another and the bonds/restrictions they have in place?

Cheers
