How is Oman Air????

Dear all,

Just looking for more info about Oman Air, as view from inside. Please be as much realistic as you can, I know we´re in pprune, but any info will be appreciated, regarding upgrade prospectives, working environment, more numberous nationality among pilots group, how is the trasining.

I read on goggle last night that Oman still has the "Death Penalty!"

An Omani national carrier will not go bust. That doesn't mean that there aren't or won't problems as in so many other outfits.

Agree....

I agree, absolutely, a national carrier is somehow a guarantee , but I´m a bit more risky at this time in life, I wonder how the professional progression or upgrades will be there, otherwise it becomes another sort of "only for money", another bit of time just to be somewhere. Hope you understand.

Don't count too much on carreer progression unless you are a National. GCC National will also have priority.
Few might well be very lucky because WY is growing, but never count on it to be a long-term solution.
