This is almost that unbelievable it could be a joke. Unfortunately though the airline masters will come out with unscathed reputations in the eyes of the law.

There is no need for paranoia about this thread. The target of the Etihad action, to uncover identities, were a few individuals who published details most of us would never consider doing. In any country. Sadly they now have to explain/pay for their lack of forethought and common sense.
The Grooming Guide was a storm in a tea-cup, which most sensible people saw as unlikely to be enforced to any length, and almost totally ignorable. Those who saw it as a serious threat, don't really have a great grasp of reality IMHO.
The country is full of 'silly' rules like fines for a dirty car, or driving with the interior light on at night..... How often have they been enforced?

If you like I can show you a Delta, United, or any other major airline "guide to grooming and presentation", in fact whether you were in the military or not, we are to be percieved as "officers and gentleman", the person who created this guide was no doubt doing their job, and did not deserve to be mortified on this forum, but then again, all the posts about one's employer here are a bit out of order, dirty laundry is best hung out or cleaned in house isn't it??

Whats the aftermath like? How many got the sack, how many moved, how many disappeared?
I for one have learnt that its not good to poke my nose where it does not belong. Will stick to SLF sites ( sadly the best one is owned by the same firm that owns pprune ) and stick to honest reviews of products/services.
Pity a stupid thread here, may have led to dramatic changes in peoples lives
