no sympathy for the trainers, I guess they volunteered to become trainers or were they forced now? Many have been in the left hand seat for barley 6 months and beg to become trainers to shaft the senior non training guys and then after having a cosy roster for years cry foul because they get bypassed to the big bird if they dont resign from training, sounds like a bit of hypocrisy to me, I guess you cant have it all.

Just looked at the pre-assigned flights for April, specifically Ek775.
On the following days they are assigned to training: 1,2,4,5,6,10,11,12,15,21,22,23,24,25,and 28.
That is 15 days or 50% of the flights pre-assigned. As you probably only get a chance in your top or second top month to bid for them, how on earth can one have a hope in getting there. (I have family there and have managed a single trip in 2 years). Similar trends for various European destinations. Convince me the system is equitable.

Pre assigned does not mean only training. As said before training is allowed 30% that s it , the rest goes to CRS/CRM/CP/ you name it the list is endless of those that can pull flights
