...7500..$ /month:including flying allowance,utility..(QR/U$ fixed exchange rate)
-In euros it will fluctuate up and down..according exchange rate.
-3% increase on the basic salary/year , but..for the first 5 years only.. in your respective grade!
-No pension,No provident fund, just a Thiny end of service benefit: 3 weeks of your monthly basic salary/year, becomes 4 weeks after 5 years.
Pay rise..
Wait till next EY/EK salary increase than QR will have no choice but following the trend :SOP.

Basic - 18000 QR = $4930
Flight Pay - 90 QR/block hour = $1480 (based on 60 block hours)
Transport Allowance - 1500 QR = $410
Uilities - 300 QR = $80
Take home - 25200 QR = $6900
Meal allowance not included, but in my experience you will be spending more than what the company give you. For those with families, if you have 2 kids or more, expect to pay out of your own pocket. The education allowance only suffice for a single child. Education fees in Doha are about 50000 QR (approx $13500) a year.
Other things to consider; large unpaid duty on A320 fleet. Despite having similar duty times, you can earn on average about $700/month less than your colleagues on the widebody fleet. That equates to about $8000 a year.
No pay for deadheading. No pay for diversion. No provident fund.
Pros: Still a better salary than most other places in the world. But is it worth all the extra hassle you have to put up with? Depends on your circumstance.

ExpressCa,
Other bonuses...if you are used to working in US, you'll appreciate the tax-free pay, no need for a crashpad, and 42 days paid leave a year. Sure there are negatives, but there is some good as well.

Thanks guys for all the good info.
I wonder what percentage of guys elect to collect housing allowance to live outside company accommodation. Is it more economical to do that?

If you are a new joiner you probably won´t have the choice..you will have to take company accomodation..Later on if you want you might get the housing allowance and rent your own accomodation..
For the long term ..a Wise advice:Make your calculation before coming here(depending of your family situation..);as somebody mentions you will ""enjoy"" a tax free ..salary..well yes..BUT think about the astronautical schools fees here,(schools here are business center!!) NO pension, salary increase blocked after 5 years of seniority...and stuff like that...
Look at the big picture.

"BUT think about the astronautical schools fees her, (schools here are business center!!)"
This is absolutely right.
If you have more than one kid think twice.
And the level of school here is terrible.
