What policies are your airline applying or applied in the past in order to minimize costs in reference to policies and flights dispatching ? maybe some cost index change , tankering ,etc...
What are the steps taken from Operations control centers to minimize costs ?
Would you guys share the applied strategies during the financial crisis that affected the aviation industry ?

The financail crisis didn't change anything particularly, as no airline was EVER keen to spend more money than it had to.
Tankering, very low CIs, encouragement of Idle Reverse and Single Engine taxi all pre-dated the GCC.
The main way they saved money was by paying us less!!
