Instead of posting this intelligent question on pprune, why don't you ask Emirates? I'm sure their marketing/recruitment guys would have an answer for you. I feel they owe you an apology for failing to seek your expert advice before launching their campaign.

The more appropriate question would be why does EK have to perform road shows all over the world to recruit drivers?
Not to long ago, there was no need to publicize this outfit, there was no need for HR to pull out the red carpet to attract qualified pilots.

So why now road shows to attract aviators to fly big shinny new planes in an internationally recognized airline?
