and they didnt ignore the JNB either, they made one of the guys a TRE

But don't forget, GT: they sacked him first.

A hull loss is less of an issue here because they've structured all the manuals and references so that no matter what happens, it's the fault of the crew.

They can go to the media and blame the captain, even if it was a fatigue issue because "it was his decision to fly." No problem.
