Hey there,

As of now, there are no more recruitments for pilots at Wataniya Airways. Also they haven't started to recruit trainee pilots.

Your best bet would be Bahrain Air, but I'm not sure what their current policy is in hiring trainees are these days. Good luck mate!

Habibi,

There is no cadet program in Wataniya Airways. They don't provide type ratings also.

So you have to take your license somewhere else. As you know Kuwait DGCA does not accept FAA "certificates" for ab-initios.

So even with wasta, Wataniya Airways does not have the training capabilities to train you from scratch. So use your wasta for something worthwhile.

I don't know how clear do you guys want me to make it....

KUWAIT DGCA WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY AIRLINES REGISTERED A KUWAITI DGCA ISSUED AOC TO HIRE PILOTS AS CADETS OR SECOND OFFICERS IF THEY FILL THE NECESSARY CRITERIA WHICH ARE:

- THE CANDIDATE MUST HOLD A VALID FROZEN ATPL ATTAINED FROM AN APPROVED INSTITUTION BY THE DGCA

- THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EITHER A HIGH SCHOOL DEGREE WITH THE 4 SCIENCES SUBJECTS WITH A GPA OF 3.25 OR GREATER, OR A COLLEGE DEGREE.

The DGCA has NO APPROVED flight schools which issues FAA licenses in their list.

So your license will not be accepted by the Kuwaiti DGCA

If you have wasta, then try with Kuwait Airways, anything goes there....

Knownsince1990,

That is incorrect, the KCASR of Kuwait was the old British CAA, however there are some ammendments which are similar to the FAA.

I hope this answers your question also cyrilroy21

Thanks a lot for the answers

I know most of the ME aviation authorities are tailored to JAA standards
( Would have gotten a JAA fATPL if i had the money )

How is Wataniya doing by the way ?

Load Factors ? Profits/Losses ?

How is life in Wataniya as a Pilot ?
