IF F n B's = Skychefs, EY all Economy = Gulf Traveller, Management from Top to Bottom = GF I therefore conclude EY = GF part 2 in the making.

Etihad has been doing low cost operation on A320 while pretending to be the best airline in the world and being a flag carrier for the last 3 years.

It was already pretty bad as far as safety, pilots' fatigue, poor management was concerned while pretending, what will it be now as they really commit to low cost......
Pilots will have to pay for food and water onboard, pay their uniforms and their sims....??? and bending over a bit more than they already are ?

What next...becoming Emirates low cost feeder.... ??

Good luck guys !!!!!

Why not just start "Fly Abu Dhabi",make it an all 320 operation and be done with it.

I thought we were low cost, with expensive ID tickets. Now they just confirming it! Another 42 people extra per A320 (162 now) and possibly less cabin crew.

Yes, the F/O will be serving drinks on his way to the back toilet, whilst the captain will running the duty free!!! Of course it is expected for the F/O to be visual every 20 minutes to confirm no cockpit checks necessary

I like it.

Shows once more diamond clear where EY's place is, on the lower range like corals. Welcome back to the real world, it's not all pearls .

Two many ego's there to do that.
They may keep major destinations alive like LHR, FRA, SYD, BKK , PEK and a few more and move the other aircrafts up North, getting more A320's full economy maybe even A321's

Gulf Traveller bis repetita.....

If you're in EY, stay on widebody, narrowbody operation will become even more ****tier than it already is....
How will you recruit anybody with common sense on EY A320 fleet ? with no career prospects ?? Lies ? No , You have already been lying too much to too many people ?

If you are on A320, just try to go on widebody as soon as you can, or go North EK or West QR, RJ, THY.

Other options are available such as VN, CA, HN, SIA Cargo, JetAirways....

If you are to stay A320, just fly A320 in a decent environment, not in the desert under 45 degrees and Ramadan. Tiger, Jetsar, a few chinese carriers are recruiting .

On A320 there is a job with a 16000 USD salary based in Shanghai. Not the best place in the world, but 1000 % better than UAE ( culture, history....) for singles or families.

Good luck to all.

Been there and I wish I'll never have to go back unless long term unemployed .
