EK Pilots and self certified sick leave.

Warnings being given for taking too much self-certified sick leave.
My - advice: Go to the clinic every time. If no appointment available call the FDM!
Keep discovering.

Thanks for the warning. Did you get pinched for calling in yourself?

Friend of mine got a letter. I read it, quite demeaning. He hadn't taken many self-certified days either. Seems like a crack down has begun.

Some guys have been given a warning by phone. 1 hr of your time at the clinic and its in the system. Maybe get another day of rest from the Dr just to make sure you are fit. This one is to easy.
Thanks for the heads up 9 points.

I wonder if the members of the pilot group who account for 17% of all the "sick" days are being given any letters.

Of course when you look at their Nationality, I doubt it very much.....
