Hello all
This might not go down too well with some folks...but I need to ask , so here goes..
anyone joining EK as f/o now is looking at how many years before PIC upgrade? 5-6 years? Any possibilities of DEC in the future (I know they are not much liked/wanted ..but it's happened in the past). also do they follow a seniority list for f/os to upgrade or is it based purely on whoever has higher hours/experience.
One more important question... do f/0s find the salary with the housing and school taken care of, enough and comfortable? Dubai seems to be an expensive city to live in!

1. it changes daily for the upgrade time
2. it changes daily for DECs
3. they are suppose to follow senority, but with this place who knows, sorry
4. you can save through your monthly contributions but probably not much else.
Sorry to be like that, but that is the way I and many others see it.....good luck on your choice...

Habbibi.....
Too many Pilot complains about Emirates. You have good Job, good Terms and Money's. The Tax is all for free!! We have no furlough here and wonderful shiny Airplane for you to fly all of the nights. Yes come make a good life in my beautiful country! You will have excellent Contract and Conditions, we give many many Holidays and good salarys and excellent accommodations too!
We have an excellent Managers in E.K. they work very hard for making the Pilot work even harder! and for the cheaper! All for making the Airline lesser cost! and for the debt reduction in my beautiful Country to give the Local peoples a nice Job!
Don't listen to these Lazy Pilots! you will get many good experiences and great weathers for skiings, shoppings, fishings and sailings too! All your Family and Wives will be welcome and enjoyful!
Come my Friend, tell all your Pilot Friends to not be Lazy Pilots! come here and work for us!
