Qatar for low timers?!

(To all the critics to this post) I have tried searching the freshest info, canīt find any proper answer:

I have 1500 tt (of which >1200 are on dash 8 300 [efis]

Should I even bother applying?

My friend just got called for, and did his assessment, and he has 1500tt (most on b717)

Constructive answers would be much appreciated.

Thanks

If you at least meet the minimum criteria, what does it cost you to apply (besides some time collecting the data and filling out the forms)?

Now, I wouldn't hold my breath but you never know, you might get lucky.
