QATAR admission exam

Is it true that the written test is failing most of the pilots at initial interview?

I can't say anything but agree.

Qatar Airways want everybody to be just sad as they are.They don't want you to be happy so unless you didn't find a job in the past 3 years don't come here,and if your next question is:why are you here then,my answer is....I am already looking for another job!!!

Having just done it, read "Ace the tech pilot interview" or similar and you will be fine.

I am an Aussie pilot looking to get a gig with Qatar.Have already filed an online application but havent heard anything back.I have over 2500 hrs but no jet time.What are my chances of joining Qatar.Are they only want pilots with jet time or they do invite the low time pilot without jet time.
any input will be much appreciated .Thanks guys

Qatar Airways Interview

I have done the interview just recently, and it was professional enough to judge who would be their next candidate;
the day started as 8 am gathering everybody in the launch. Then they gather us into the conference room, and started the qatar airways video and how it established and how many planes they have. just try to write everything they say. You will be asked about it in the second stage interview. Done that, everyone hand over their license, Loogbook, Passport, And you Medical.
Now the written exam is handed over and u have 1 hr to finish the 50 questions. Apparently, they give us different papers between each other so no one can cheat..lol. The questions is all operations and performance plus the meteorology subjects. I advice the ACE and if u can go to the Aviationtire website and study the JAA ATPL written exam and u will nail the tes!!
If you pass that Test, then you will be given a time to come again for the next stage which should be in the same day. The questions all about Qatar and how you chosen the Airline. If you have any conflict with your flight crew in the cockpit,,,,exe.
Then if you passed that stage which u will be receiving a letter under ur room door stating ur result, you will be invited to the final stage which is the simulator and most likey at 11 pm same day. The simulator assessment very much looking for your aircraft handling and normal procedures beside your CRM usage. be relaxed and get ready for any abnormality such as eng failure after V1.
I hope i covered all your acquires, and wish all the best.
ps; It's a great place to fly as an airliner pilot.
