Ive had a lousy all night turnaround flight, only to find a rotten roster for next month when I arrived. Can someone brighten my day and tell me when ED is leaving. He was in EGHQ this morning.

Can someone explain how implementing a maximum number of days off in a month, limiting the number of days off in a row, and limiting the number of days off before and after annual leave saves the company money? It seems to me that these rostering issues are what is really killing the quality of life here and I see little, if any, benefit to the company.

Very easy answer. You make life difficult for pilots. You behave in a vindictive way. People reach saturation. People leave. Make the ones that stay work 95 hours a month instead of 75. Make more money for the company. Make a huge bonus as a VP. Welcome to EK. Keep being vindictive.
