Hey Sheik, you really are a messed up individual. Get help before its too late, this job is not worth losing your sanity over. You left EK and still snipe from the wings, not good old chap!
So the shakey sheik has left EK and is STILL Bitching?
Usually a sign that the grass wasn't all that green after all, and he needs to keep re-enforcing his decision in his own mind.

hahahah and the amateur armchair psychologists are out in force!
I for one get a kick out of the sheik's posts...both for their content (which incidentally is spot on) and for the indignant reactions they provoke...hmmm...maybe there's a psychological reason for that as well...like...he's right?!

Any grass is greener than sand
It is a fact. You can be the most mediocre and ungifted pilot but if you shut up, don't mess with your PPCs ( and that's quite difficult cause everybody gets his copy of the TRE training page...don't you?), keep your head down, pass the idiotic interview( just a matter of getting the right clues...) go through the training ( and everybody knows what is going to happen on the SIM... don't you? ) and voila' you have the life of hundred of people in your hands.That is quite incredible to me and it is exactly what Emirates deserves. A very substantial number of spineless cheaters and asslickers. Well actually is the very EK to promote this. The resulting remotely controlled CPT, fatigued and scared of of its own resposability, but very much liking his salary , will ,sooner or later with the help of the underqualified FO , hit some cumulus granitus even without considering in the equation fatigue. What is saving asses is EK state of the art flight support but Murphy is just behind te corner....
Try to stand honestly for your right, show assertiveness and integrity all qualities highly desirable in the cockpit of a widebody and they wil just **** around with you untill you resign. Quite ilarious... well depends from the point of view.
salham aleikum

Gentlemen , a small dose of reality needed amongst the EK contributors to this Forum ?
Ask a 1000 pilots for their opinion of the company they work for and its unlikely they will have much in common. Some will always be unhappy with EVERYTHING , some will rarely be uptight , some will be happy just doing their job , just happy to be employed etc etc .......some will be able to put the frustrations of their job to one side because they have a happy homelife with contented family , good standard of living etc etc.....
Basically , try not to rise to the bait being put out by the completely disenchanted . They made a mistake joining the company they work for , feel trapped because it is difficult to move , are unable to see any good in what they are doing .
Don't try to reason with the unreasonable...........

@kotakota
Do fully agree. But do not forget the "mighty" ones that tried to play in the "big" league speculating with properties and are now finally forced to stay here.....cause they can not leave this great country and still got depts to pay for the next 20 years....of course these are the ones to moan all the time. But in the past they were so smart, heee....
