Talking Augmenting on EK with One J Class Seat Is now Ok

Remember the not so recent debacle over the company trying to give us one J class seat for augmenting crew, and how the company was forced to back down due to the number of ASRs that were submitted.

Well its obviously safe now, since the new OM (wtf - not for operational use) states that we will now get one J class seat for augmenting flights were there is no Cabin Crew Rest Compartment (which is the one us pilots use) fitted.

A380 crew will rest in 18F (NICE). Other seat will be soft blocked, but can be used for a pax if required. In other words will be used.

Many more things inserted `secretly`for OM-A

This J class seat is not the only one. I discovered some other aspects too, positioning on other airlines.... etc.

how long this will last? Finally the clouds are gathering over Dubai, not only because it is cooler winter months ahead.

If there are numerous pilots seeking jobs elsewhere, and leaving without any other job now, how it will be when the better times arise out of this region!

.... someone will, despite of all what is happening, still clapping a fellow award winning VP nr.300000001 at HQ for a good job of saving 50 DHS on reusable envelopes, and yet spending large money for something ridiculous unofficial printed manuals.

Knock on wood.
