when your computer connects to the internet your IP is used to connect to websites. Have a look at this website Hide-My-IP.Com - Hide Your IP Address, Surf Anonymously, Protect Your Identify, Guard Against Hackers and look at the top of the screen it will show you what information you are showing anyone who cares to look for it.
I have no connection to that site it is just to show you that tracking people is not difficult.

QR new or old management ???
QR flight ops have only one manager and it is little small man.
Did ever any of CP,CT,DCT,EVPO ..... decided about any important matter when come to command upgrades or promotion or fleet transfer or payment of leave or any thing except ti sign your log book or exit permit and give you 2 days off ? NO it all need to be approved by CEO as if he is expert in flying instead expert in giving L.V bags to the C.C on promotion flights .

All managers, up to EVPO level, need CEO approval for every decision costing more than 5000QR!
So basically they are not managers, they are expensive and overpaid secretaries, believing in pink elephants!

I am not saying they can hack Pprune. I am saying they can trace your IP and even provide a LAT/LONG. It has happened to me. Scared the stuffing out of me. They may not know what you are saying but they may know if you have been on the website.
