Abu Dhabi Accom

Hello all
I know that the housing in Dubai has dropped in terms of rental costs however I have yet to hear of any similar reductions in Abu Dhabi. Would any of you be able to comment on the current housing costs and tell me what I can rent for 180,000D per annum.
Many thanks.

Prices won't come down until significant supply enters the market. The first apartments on Reem Island might start delivery in late 2009 to early 2010. In Shahama the Al Reef Villas will start getting delivered soon.

This is one good agent to talk to:

Dhs 180k is not quite enough for a decent villa, a maate just got a 3 bed in Sas Al Nakeel for 190k and you should be able to get 3-4 bed in Raha Gardens for 200-240k. Prices are all very neg at the moment so you may be lucky at 180...... Managed to get 30% reduction for my villa renewal from the landlord(thief) for 2009/2010.

Depends what area you are looking at. In Al Falah, Al Shamka and Khalifa City you will get a 4 bed villa for that price. I'm staying in 3 bed villa for 150k

Thanks for the replies lads.
This gives me a few areas to research to see if they are suitable.
Cheers again.
