PPRUNE now blocked in the UAE
The Pprune is now blocked in the UAE as an illegal website according to Etislut. Any one else have the same problem????

Lived here longer than I care to acknowledge 
Thanks to 'other means' we are able to see the horrors within our neighbour's borders in the last 10 days. It's a perfect example of how you can't censor the internet.

not blocked, just old age, slowing down
I log on using the masonic handshare, and it was fine, but slow.
System lodged omewhere.
No probem, in UAE.
However It was blocked somewhere recently, and I can not remember where. but not UAE.

what happen in that region
are they learn too much from east no one may get info from other world and can't speak-up, are they start playing take it or leave it

It gets blocked in Oman every once in a while - due to them updating their filters.
It usually happens because the filter has picked up a "bad" set of words. One assumes the Jet Blast Porn threads over the past week would not have helped.
No conspiracy - no eavesdropping - you just call up OmanHell and ask them you unblock it: it takes about an hour.

'Block' Maybe Correct......
I have just tried to access the thread from another machine not equipped with 'Flash-Whizzo' the mystery ingredient....and it says 'could not connect'...so not sure if that is our wonderful purveyor of quality communications or another way saying that the page is 'blocked' to protect the religious and moral values of T.C. Lark!!
