Qr 330-300 Parked
Hi out there, I hear that QR has 2 or more white tail A330-300 parked in Doha possibly available for lease? Can anyone send me an update or give me a contact at QR to follow up?
Many thanks

I'm not sure that they do. AFAIK, all QR A333 are still active, although some of the orange Asian Games aircraft have recently been repainted in standard colours.
I may be entirely wrong though.
If at all they do have aircraft they want to offload, I would have guessed that the two ex-Volare non standard A332's would be logical choices - A7-AFN and AFO.

Thanks for the help chaps, fits in with the 'white' story I got - probably being prepped for THY or in between Asian Games colour scheme changes.

I really had no idea that two aircraft were going to THY. Can anyone confirm which two specific Qatar registrations are involved? I wonder what vintage they are and I assume they are going on dry lease?

I see, so it is the ex-Volare aircraft, which are in fact A330-200's and not -300's. I bet QR's MNL, PEW, CEB and CAN pax are pleased that these machines will no longer be used extensively on those routes. No IFE, etc.
