QR Changes in FLT.OPS management

This is what I heard:

1- S S in charge of training.

2- H M chief pilot A330.

3- I M is out.

I think everybody agrees that these changes are towards the better.

Anyone with more and accurate info.

new DCPT 320

I don't know about CP 320, but I know that the new DCPT 320 is K.F.
A very nice man, good instructor, and I beleive the 320 training policy and atmosphere will improve under his management.

S.S is also a good manager, so I think these 2 will co-operate to undo the mess created by I.M.

Let the 320 pilots and instructors give them enough time to fix the current general dissatisfaction especially regarding the fleet transfer policy (which was tailored to the benefit of I.M. and B.W.)

wooow man, I do not know which services exactly you EVER received from H.F. but you must be the special case of the day!

Me, for sure, I never received any services from him. He is as spineless as a mussel, even approving leave proves to be too difficult for him! His resolution to that huge problem is to send you in person to rostering ad let you deal with the problem yourself!

S.S. has three fleets under his wings, double the number of pilots H.F. has got to "manage", yet he is still capable of allowing everybody to have one flight request, have 4 days off in a row per month if wanted AND he assures fair rosters to everybody wherever possible!

While S.S. tells rostering what to do and when, on the A320 fleet its H.F. who is being dictated by M. from rostering department. Do you actually think S.S. would allow COK turnaround to be flown with 75% of the flights going into discretion? And who do you think made sure CCJ became a layover? yes indeed, S.S got involved in the A320 issues after some pilots went and complain to him after they found H.F. turning deaf! DME turnarounds where abolished years ago on the A320 when S.S. was CP there and guess what...Under H.F. they are back! During the night!
And that's exactly why he is on his position, he is a "YES" man of the worst kind!

Will be interesting to see H.M. handling the responsibility. He has been known to take things VERY personal against people when he does not like somebody. And he definitely holds a grudge.... So try to be on his good side, otherwise get the hell of his fleets because you won't go anywhere!

K.F. Nice guy, good instructor. Can imagine him being pissed of as well. Finally he gets his training slot on the B777 and they pull a trick like this on him. I hope he will be motivated enough to take on the task on the A320 he hated so much in the end! I wish him all the best however, he will need it!

Angry

bansai........ keep your thoughts to your self about HM my darling and think twice when you speak about him,and this as a friendly advice.
Just because you saw changes in management you have to say something.
HM is a gentlemen with capital letters and he has proven this to everyone. At least there are a few guys out there that when you need them they stand by you and they mean it.
Now flare and relax before you hit the ground.........buddy!
PS:I totally agree with ramiyns

This is true,The A330 guys were very nice. H M is a GENTLEMAN ,he has only one word.At least he show it to myself.Good Manager.

S S on training will be good as well.He did a nice job as chief pilot, but the ACtion one were H M .Both of them were solving problems from everybody.People from the A320,prefer to talk to them instead of talking to that dumb who was in charge of A320 and all the time going to the prayer room.

Well, go and pay a visit to the training office and you will find him there behind S.Ds old desk.

Wear your polo with Maltese cross on it when you do!
