Don't forget to flush

Does anyone have any idea as to why he is leaving? Is he going voluntarily or being shoved? Is it a departure from aviation circles only or from the Emirate altogether?

cull in dana

10 of the new staff hired in last few months have just been let go.

Just as they were sitting down to the company IFTAR dinner.

Shame the PAKIstani was not on the list.

Another CRM demonstration by Skilled Potty Flusher.

To Pak Or Not To Pak...

I did hear the whole ten sackings and shortest accountable manager tenure on record were the work of the dreaded inept pak. You know the one, the guy who holds the record for being sacked the most and crawling back the most ....
It does seem however that the head pot's departure is still on ...
or so the rumor goes...

how did it go again, stop, not don't stop, stop.. bugger, we're run off the end, it must be the f/o's fault.... or similar...

Capt Paki needs to be gone. Seems there is a new DO who only wants EU crews....maybe some from the US but be gone Capt Paki...

I was on a flight with him where he stated "I am not a very good pilot". Made me feel comfortable! Gulfstream guy...am sure you remember when I flew the one time with him!

RAK Airways to start ....again
Posted on 20 September 2010 in Air Transport
The relaunch of RAK Airways - the airline of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates- is expected to be announced next week.

The Chairman of RAK Airways, Sheikh Omar Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, has called a press conference next Sunday to unveil the airline’s new corporate identity and reveal details of RAK Airways new service offerings, routes and strategic objectives.

He will be joined by Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Chairman of RAK Department of Civil Aviation and Deputy Chairman RAK Airway. Omar Jahameh, CEO, RAK Airways and Roland Blaney, CEO, RAK Airport.

The airline was founded in 2006 and launched operations early in 2007 with two Boeing 757-200 aircraft. Boeing and RAK Airways signed a 1.6 billion dirham deal for four 737-800s, with further purchase rights.

However it suspended operations in 2008.

whats payload daddy

With the vast advertising and media hype that dominated the local, national, and internationsl press I would expect a 105%, (standing room only) payload.

Unless it is actually a sub charter for a Haj special.

All will be made clear in tomorrows National.

re: RAK Airways new lainch

Well congrats to all concerned.

However though on the surface all looks well. There is about to be a major revolt by ESJ pilots because of pay and accomodations.

RAk Airways has bought ESJ and pinned its hopes of revival on a bunch of Business men with a Roti shop Budget no sense reality and bad hearing.

Things are so messed up there that any Credible Authority would have come in by now and put a stop to this show. However the ESj management knows fully we that The GCAA is up to their in FAA audit and have no time to pay them a visit.

So be careful there could be another launch......again!

Stay tuned!

NAS EXPRESS sub charters

In the Press releases are quotes that they will not be a LOW COST CARRIER, and fares will start at 10 aeds.

Thats quite cheap in my book.

Aviation job search and flight jobs

There poster advertisment are also in Bur Dubai, as well as all round the Al Hamra Mall roadway.

The posters actually look much better than the WE FLY YOU last year.

Any news on load factors, plus fare breakdown.

Is the Indian route just for Potties workforce. ??

Thumbs down

Wow Rak Airways can't comment much about them, this is the third time they have launch the company partnership with dubai based charted company Eastern Sky Jets full of jokers, at this stage they are using ESJ/ B737-300 and using both flight and cabin crew from ESJ, and operating two sectors. hiring plan is not active at this stage, because most of tickets where sold for 10/dirhams, and they paid for the billboard on shiekh zyed road. however they hiring for B757 and u will be based in sudan.

RAK Airways 3 treads, that more than their entire fleet

There are three threads on RAK Airway.

The latest news is on one of the other threads, time to merge again, perhaps. The threads that is not the airline.
