Bahrain internet
It appears that Bahrain have started blocking access to proxy related websites like the UAE. They've also introduced a splash page with contact numbers which is new!

411A: Congratulations!, That's the stupidst reply for the day
Sites blocked are political and proxy but 'porn' is still accessaible. Therefore, I don't think any of the lads would care as the blocked sites are all in Arabic

Doesn't it make sense asking first why a given website has been blocked?!!
May be the nature of the content is highly offensive...don't really know for sure, and I don't want to speculate that either, but there must have been good reasons I guess!

Update: They've changed the information on the 'access denied' page. They've removed references to the Information Ministry and they've removed the phone numbers.
It now reads as follows:
Site Blocked
We apologies the site you are attempting to visit has been blocked by ministerial order due to its contents being inconsistent with religious, cultural, political or moral values of Kingdom of Bahrain.
