DC-6´s AT SAANA

Anyone out there have pics of the 2 DC-6´s at Saaná or have been up close to them?

pictures maybe a bit hard to get, the military run the decurity at the airport and definitely do not like cameras

Last time i was in Sanaa, back on 06, there was just bits and pieces left to the north side of the runway.

Air Atlantiques DC6 G-APSA came out of Yemen in the late 80s, via Djibouti & Athens. Acquired by Instone Airlines to fly race horses, (replacing the Bristol Freighter). Operated & later bought by Air Atlantique, it is Still flying!

Hey guys, I need contact details for someone at Sanaa that can get me permission to go check out the DC-6's and the DC-3's still there. The DC-3 was WFU when the Captain retired and there were no takers for his job.

I asked the handling agent, as were regular there last year, and was told NO WAY, it is a military area...... more of a junk yard, but then most looked like that over there.
i will look at my pics, and see if I have any, be some time.
