Sun Express Off The Runway
Just wondering if anyone else has any other info about the recent incident at ADB airport (Izmir-Turkey) on Saturday 22nd evening.
We were scheduled to land there that evening at about 19.30, but was informed that runway was closed and we were diverted to Bodrum Milas airport.
Later we heard rumors that it was a B737-800 that overturned on the runway after landing, for a backtrack turn and sunk his nose wheel gear into the mud during the turn. We were told it was a Sun Express aircraft on a training flight?????
