FlyDubai FO positions

Does anybody know when FlyDubai will start actively recruiting FO's or if they have been already?

Also are they enforcing their requirement for 500hrs PIC (for FO's). Seems strange that someone with 3000hrs Jet but lacking this PIC time would qualify.

Good luck to them finding FOs with 500 PIC time and not choosing EK instead.

Any time in the RHS if you are operateing the sector this is PIC (ok is actually pic under supervison) but you can offically log this under JAA rules as P1.

Bluebaron

Have you got a reference for that?

Most operators will only accept P1 time as time when you signed for the aircraft.....

I understand about PICUS time (which is different to P1 under JAR however logged in the P1 column), but they are specifying 500hours PIC on a/c with MTOW > 20t which makes me think they are looking for guys who have had command of a small turboprop commuter - beach1900 or similar.

Think its unlikely they are going to find enough FO for 54 aircraft who meet this requirement and seems silly to turn away experienced Jet guys (especially rated) who have flown in the region too - but who am i to say!!

If any one has any info from the company directly would be interested to hear it!
