Position Ranbi

Just curious if anyone knows what the island they are building underneath Ranbi (on the departure out of Dubai) is.

I think what you see around RANBI is the top end of what will be the Palm Deira.

Think I know the one you mean, to me it looked as if it had something to do with the oil industry.

I don't think it's the top of the Diera Palm. To far out and the way the curve is doesn't conform to the palm. It's a cresent shape and fairly small. It's literally right underneath Ranbi.

Just curious. You never know what these guys are building.

Actually I did start to think that RANBI is a bit too far out into sea to be connected physically to mainland UAE.
