Cool Most Respected

Hi all

I am looking at relocating to the UAE for a few years if I can get the work.

My question is this, which is best for me in the Middle East - JAA/FAA/CAA or any others.

I have a South African and Australian ATPL, both part of ICAO. I am thinking of converting to the JAA. I do have a British passport.

Do you think I would be wasting my time - What do Middle Eastern employers generally require or respect the most!!

Thanks for your help

If you are thinking of one of the major carriers (EK, EY, Air Arabia etc.) your current licenses are fine, but you need to apply and be employed before coming. Couldn't say WRT second level operators, but GCAA regs are "JAR Complient" if that helps.
