beware road shows

Ethhad have just put on line the latest recruits.

The road show promised a certain level of accomodation.

The company has already changed the rules, and even after less than one week on line, the new hires are revolting.

First live sector 9am this morning, still have not received Licence or validation in hot and very sticky hand.

well, you can't say that nobody warned you.
As long as you don't need anything from the company, the job is fine.

rent to buy

Pilots were told many months ago that we dont need a pension. James hogan told pilots to buy a house as this would be a good pension instead.

At the ROAD SHOW we found out that the RENT TO OWN SCAM with Hydra is now going to rise in cost from 950,000 aed to 1,600,000 aed. Shame on James and his team for your amazing skills in negotiations, This is pathetic.

When is a contract really a contract in this part of the world. Thinking of joining you have been warned....

Did you ask Hogan about his pension than?

Ahh, no, I forgot, these managers salaries are so high they really do not need a pension!

Same here a little bit up North....Pension was promised many years ago but no manager seems to be intrested...Hey, I would not need a pension if I was on a 140000QR/month/BMW/House?expenses paid package!

There was nothing of any substance regarding contracts etc.
Hogan and his boys presented a bunch of figures to show how well they were doing..and the future plans for expansion.
Nothing was mentioned about changes to T&C or accomodation.

The turn out was very low from pilots, the new cadets and new joiners made up the majority..all the old hands had heard it all before!

Nothing was mentioned about the Hydra housing at the roadshow I attended?..where have these new figures come from?....I have heard nothing for months from EY or NBAD,...

Basically SOS (Same Old Sheet!)

Here is the Etihad Reality Roadshow

Etihad Purchased Planes Based on Availability: Bloomberg News
Bloomberg and this presenter in particular didn't get their act right. They called Etihad a Dubai based national aiirline...

where did this road show take place? Ive applied on-line to etihad and had no response in over 2 months.
Im London based at the moment and its frustrating that I am more than qualified for the position and they keep on advertising for pilots but I hear nothing?
