CRJ's in the Middle East?
Hello, was wondering if anyone knows of any existing (or start up) airline in the middle east looking to operate with CRJ-200's and then bring in some CRJ-700's in the near future? Does anyone know of any CRJ operators in the area?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Iraqi will only use original Iraq Airways pilots and a handful of Customer Support Pilots which may include a half dozen or so 'contract' pilots for a limited time only.
They also purchased a large number of B737-800s.
Don't forget, these guys have been waiting 10-15 years to get back into a cockpit and aren't keen to see anyone other than their fellow countrymen get the jobs. It's all part of them bringing their country back to life, so to speak.
Kudos to Iraq Airways for calling furloughed pilots back to work.
As for Syrian??? They aren't on the Bombardier radar as of yet.
Yemen, yes.
