Slave labour-No Pay Today!

It's always been the slave (read sub-continent) labour who doesn't get paid on time....now I called up my bank because of no salary transfer and the man I spoke to told me that they are inundated with calls about no pay into their accounts. Is this the new way forward?
I have always worked for airlines who were good payers. Usually in my account by the time I woke up on pay day. Emirates has always been late in the day to pay on the 26th but never by this time.
I understand the sub labourers are used to it but is this the new face of EK?
I may be over reacting but this is, in 20+ yrs of aviation, the first time I have been paid late (& so many others too!)

Is it just me or is our salary hitting the bank later and later??

The salary used to reach the bank at @ 2pm on the 26th. Since May this has become later and later. It is now 6.30 am on the 27th and I still havent been paid.

Anyone else???

What bank?

For those that had it show up on time, name of bank if you don't mind, as I'll be needing to set up shop soon. If the name of the bank is too much to ask, I'll settle with card #'s, exp. dates, and mother's maiden name

It is there now....

....Mashreq recently moved their HQ and there was a small IT wobble.

Perhaps a little perspective is in order as I have received almost 200 pay checks from Emirates, all exactly on time and all exactly the correct amount I was owed.

With this one being 24 hours 'late' I think the resulting response here and on the yahoo group show that a few of us are wound just a shade too tight....
