Emirates Question

Hello, i am wondering how long does the average pilot stays with EK. Do most of them come to EK for a few years and leave or do they stay, let's say more than 10 years. Thanks

Depends where they come from. SA and Canadians never leave becasue they have never had it so good. Brits, Aus, and US hang around until something better comes along. 3rd world you will never get to leave not only for the airline but for the country as well.
"Captain" ED said 4% leaving a year is perfectly acceptable and EK probably has been getting that for the last 3 years. V Aus is going to scew those numbers in the months to come though.

While it would be interesting to see that happen, I simply don't believe the V Aus thing will have anything like the expected effect - they are simply not recruiting enough to make that big a difference, and they won't all come from EK.
