Water Cut Offs

Three days now out of 6 that the water at my part of Arabian ranches has been cut off for 6 to 10 hours at a time!! Today is another day usually the water has been cut here from 6 am til 11pm and the excuse everytime has been a broken water pipe how many are they actually breaking. The response today was quite VAGUE from EMAAR and when i mentioned are they rationing water he laughed it off uneasily..

Again a dunk in the pool for a shower before work what the F$$K.

Anybody else having same problems at AR or elsewhere?

Same same

Same here. And these scheduled 'breaks' appear to occur every summer during peak demand times. Looks like the precious juice gets re-routed to irrigate Jumeira and Al Barsha.

My advise:

- Switch off auto-irrigation during the day. Only irrigate at night.
- Before hosing down the garden or refilling the pool, make sure the main tank is replenished.
- Befriend one of the water truck drivers and note down his number. The Emrill water trucks always just refill the noisiest caller - and my nerves are too precious for that.
