Phuket Air Jeddah

Hello,

Trying to ascertain if anyone out there has any feedback on Saudia contract operated by Phuket Air.

They are looking again for 742-3 drivers. Are they paying pilots these days.

Thanks in advance...TB

If you value your licence and sanity, avoid........

If you dont believe me, ask them for copy of the 3 engine ferry permit with cabin crew onboard.....

Mutt, is SV still getting the dry leased A320's starting in 2009? Rumor going around that they are only going to get the purchased ones starting around 2012.

So what happened to Saudia that they would need all this extra ACMI help?
Think we all know the answer to this one.

I don't understand it.
For a company that's generally regarded to be overstaffed and having too many planes, it is surprising to see it so dependent on wet leases. I can understand the need to lease at peak periods, but this is going too far.

Not true.... 1 leasing company has dropped some aircraft but it appears that these were replaced. At this point i wouldnt be surprised if around 5 appear in 2009...

That was then, this is now, things are changing a lot more that you might expect.

but this is going too far
Not really if you look at the long term picture, bossman isnt trying to solve todays problems, but is looking into the future.
