good one willie. Great answer
Suggest you do send of to EK and give QR a big wave as you fly over. Check out / search Rumours & News and also cabin crew for more info on QR. Nice 4 sector days, long hours, could go on but wont.

Well i can definetly say that QR is not the best place to work at. But then it isnt the worst either. Long hours and hard schedules is part of every growing airline and is probably a good sign at the end of the day. However they are not the best paymasters. Management definitely could be more staff friendly and more mature. Even though new aircraft are expected over the next 2 years QR plan to operate using existing crew who will ofcourse do cross type ratings. QR have stopped hiring direct entry captains for the time being and are trying to promote senior FO's to Captain positions. The place itself is improving and looks destined for better times.

Good grief Tom! Is it my imagination or did you say something slightly against your beloved QR?
Anyway, Respect for Willie!
As he and Gulfcrew say, fly past and wave! Hey, great place is Doha...cracking golf course...good people...but a poorly run airline.
Won't say too much in case Tom Cruise corrects me...he knows you know!
EK is the place to go!
Good luck
