Job Description: Dash 8 First Officer
Dash 8 First Officers are required immediately for a well established Middle East air carrier.
Candidates must have:
- a FAA commercial license (ATP license is preferred);
- at least 3,000 hours total time;
- at least 500 hours as FO on a variant of the Dash 8;
- currency (having flown the aircraft within the last 12 months).
Candidate with ICAO licenses are acceptable as long as they obtain a FAA license before start of contract.
Our client offers a benefit package including:
- a two year renewable contract;
- a salary of 78,000 US $ per year;
- a living allowance of 500 US $ a month while in country;
- a furnished one bedroom apartment in company compound.
All contract personnel can be paid through financial channels of their choice. United States residents can qualify for an annual 75,000 $US tax exemption under the Foreign Income Tax Exclusion provisions. They also can be exempted from any Social Security payments (about 8 % of gross income).
Candidates with a university degree could also be considered for permanent employment.

Hi Bushjock, sorry to free load on your enquiry but I am also seeking a position in the Middle East. I am looking for a Twin Otter skippers slot with an oil company or a 737 EFIS Co-pilot position with similar company. I know of Saudi Aramco but their recruitment seems to stem from a US hirring agency.
