Kuwait Airways and British Licences

I heard that Kuwait Airways only hires pilots with British licences. Can anyone say if there is any truth to that.

answer to your question,KAC accept canadian/american/uk/australian lic. but you need to be typerated with lots of hours .

hey falcon! that was no rumour,12 years ago a british lic/ATPL was a must,but all of that had to change after the gulf war(politics???????)

Ya ok. Let's hope they're not going to ask for an FAA licence now!!
