Wiper,

Just go and be yourself. I'm sure that's the best advise anyone can give you.

Good luck!

just one question .
what sort of experience do you have ?
I applied to them and were told my pathetic 2000 hours inb jets (737,DC9) were not enough so ill be interested to find out
whatever best of luck and hope to meet you on the beaches of EK one day

2000 hours in "small" jets is nothing these days, except perhaps for a small jet airline.

Cool

If you really are a Captain 411, you sure know how to kill enthusiasm among you crew.
I dont think the big companies are looking for pilots with hrs. only, your attitude and capability of working together are more important.

If EK are such a successful company, I wonder why they are not able to attract wide-body First Officers. Can there be a hidden agenda there?

Thumbs down

Ah! Allas the wise words of 411A again (...so NOT!).
Just how is the super-dooper mega experienced MicroSoft flight sim chief pilot doing these days? Still trying to prove your worth by slagging off everyone around you then hey?

I'm a 6000+ pilot and still after 1½ year waiting for an interview.....and yes 911 or whatever your name was, it 50/50 heavyjet F/O.

I'm still convinced its a great airline, with good conditions....

Oh BTW, how are your MicroSoft landings coming alone...ControlAltDelete again?
