Arrow Any Commuting Jobs?

I've looked around numerous company websites that are hiring FOs, but, of course there are no details on rosters. Are there any decent jobs in that part of the world that would work for a commuter? Or, is everyone going to expect you to uproot yourself, family, dogs, etc and move to a compound?

Thanks.

That sound you just heard was a communal bitter laugh from every pilot in the region.

Sounded like my toilet flushing. Are we talking about the same sound?

The answer to the first part of your question is NO
Second part YES

Commuting is not a realistic option

My toilet keeps running.

Aren't there turboprops somewhere out there with a month-on-month-off deal? I've heard rumors.

A lot of the private outfits run a rotation of month on month off so you could commute and keep your familly at home. The big but is that they normally hire only captains so it depends on your experience and the type of aircaft you are experienced on. Good luck.

So far, no luck. But thanks for the links!

No A320 experience and different turboprop than the Saab.

I'll keep looking. Abu Dhabi looks like they have a deal but no details. Anyone know about their DHC-8 op?
