It was taken just a short while after the delivery of QR's first A330-200, A7-ACA, back in 2002 I think.

In fact, the "team" in the foto comrpised a number of the cabin crew who escorted the aircraft on it's maiden flight from Toulouse to Doha, including then CSD Debbie Egan.

The pilot at the front of the foto was actually an A300 pilot, Diego Moreano (if I am not mistaken). Also to be found in the foto is the late Yuva Bhatia, CSD/Performance Officer. She is mid-way along the left-hand line up, just to Diego's right.

RIP Yuva.

The lady in the middle of the foto is Veronica Posteraro, who at the time worked in QR's Media and Marketing Department. Veronica is no longer with QR and is now living and working in the UAE.

Also in the foto is Victoria Petrie (FA) and Farhad Madhan. (CSD - current.)

Thanks for that. It looks like it's an A300?

Does anyone know if this picture can be found in a larger size?

Yes, the particular foto is of an A300.

I think Fayrouz is still working for QR. She left the DXB ticketing and reservations office more than two years ago and joined Cabin Crew Recruitment department in Doha, I think.

I would really like to see the picture in a larger size but can't really find it anywhere on the internet. Do you know of anything?

QR Photo

I left in QR in Aug 2002 and it had been around a while then - before the arrival of the A330.
