Do tell!!!
Frankly, what was the point of keeping him in this country when the others are just accross the water in AUH.
I am sure the evidence of their deeds in GF is somewhere in the Pink Palace.

The embassy has always been involved, but only with a watching brief, and the government won't get involved. There is too much money in trade to be lost over one citizen, so the Aus govt will stay away, just as all MK's "friends" across the water in AUH have done.
But he is still around Bahrain, despite the rumours of him leaving in an abaya (seriously, who actually believed he could get through passport control dressed like that?) still waiting for a court date, still waiting for the much publicised Kroll evidence to be produced...

Mk and pink palace
If the internationally renowned Kroll could not supply the evidence for a criminal case , what would they get for the civil case. They made a fundamental mistake in taking the statements of some disgrunted employees, jumped in a hurry as MK was due to leave, and are now in an embarrassing position - Gulf Air for the Chairman's widely publicized statements, Kroll for its reputation and possibility of facing a huge counter claim. People across the water may have benefitted but doubt MK is a party to it.

Mr. 20% never needed GF other than to line his pockets.
If its any reassurance he left GF or was asked to leave.
less reassuring is that half his family still works here....so do not be surprised that things remain the same for some time.
maybe there are changes, but the core principles of GF remain the same and the snake's head will show itself as soon as there is an element of comfort that sets, actually might not wait that long and as we speak its probably already starting.

Murtaza
He's a tailor isn't he? At least thats the name on the uniform jackets, I faintly recall...I guess that qualifies him to be a VP then or is it ex VP, who cares...
My wife said to me once when she saw my uniform jacket...you brought home the wrong jacket, that one belongs to a Mr. Murtaza I think!
OK, I'm bored...see ya.

Never believed the rumours of him leaving in an abaya. That would have been funny to that one added to the charge list. Cross dressing on the Saudi border.
All in all I hope he gets of the island soon. Good luck to him.
