Unhappy Godspeed my friend...

I was well and truly shocked when I saw the notice at dispatch.

Too young/too fast, and he WAS one of the good guys overhere in the sandpit!

A real aviator, a captain like they do not make them anymore these days!

I had the privilege to fly many times with him....and every single time it has been a pleasure!

May you rest in peace my friend...and keep an eye on us from wherever you are...just like you did when you where among us...

You truly will be missed....

Le Sgnr....

PS: My deepest condolences for his wife and children....

I am very sorry to read about the death of this young Captain.
Leaving a wife and two small daughters is very sad... especially if their financial futures are not financially provided for.
I do hope.... if Qatar Airways do not have death in sevice insurance on their tech crew....this Capatain was wise enough to have his own cover in place.
Life Cover is cheap enough to purchase...and eliminates any future financial worry for the wife and children.
Please note...Both loss of flying licence cover and also accident insurance cover....are totally useless in cases like this.
