I hope you are right. There is a view that Senior Management have become annoyed at large days off strings and from this month are implementing a package to try and prevent it. Yes I know hard to do with ULR flights but that is the sentiment of the message.
It is from those with the school of thought "Why should the pilots get rock star salaries and perks when the VPs don't?"

Perhaps that's why we can't use a vacant First or Business class seat during ULR op's, as that's considered 'stealing' too!
Anyone else not happy with that recent email from CP Boeing? more importantly, how many will email their thoughts on that subject?
