Shouldn't we consider the fact that Airbus is overdependent on the Gulf region in general and EK in particular. It is a wonderfull to have a customer to take a lot of your products but then he is too tempted to dictate you the terms and you to accept them.

Airbus needs the EK more than Boeing needs EK. Don't forget the story with the second hand SQ A340's where Airbus was adamant of not supporting them and Boeing place them with EK and all protests vanished.

EK buy Airbus because it gives them more weight with Airbus (and all the associated operational benefits) and buy Boeing because they have an ac that fits exactly their needs.

Hey Revolucion

You too are a pilot are you not?

That is why I choose to fly and not drive coaches or mend peoples toilets......

I have a choice and I can also say I earn alot more than you do!

Devil Airbus' affinity to walls

Hear about the Airbus A340-600 which crashed into a wall whilst final testing was in progress......? (in Toulouse, France)

Atleast Boeings don't do that !!!

Boeing

Rap: be very careful with your statement what boing has and hasn't done in terms of testing crash statistics etc. ask yourself how any 747 vs 340 deaths there are
